The revolutionary solid state electronic compass is designed around high-tech magnetic and gravity sensors to compensate the compass reading for rolling, pitching and acceleration. Since there are no moving parts and gimbal there is no wearing out, which substantially increases the reliability. The design also increases the resolution and accuracy. The sensor and indicators can be provided with Bluetooth to achieve a wireless data connection between sensor and one or more indicators. In this case only 12V or 24V has to be connected to the units. This option gives a hassle free installation. Another option is GPS. The combination with indicator ECI2 turns the compass into a navigator. Besides the magnetic heading, true heading, ground course, drift, trip, log, longitude, latitude, time and date can be displayed.
