The Elproma modems are superior quality modems for faultless communication which raise the joy of working and reduce the communication costs. They will send your data and faxmessages faster than ever. The heart of these fabulous modems is the unexcelled Rockwell-chip, which is used in the full range of our modems. All modems are PTT-approved and made in Holland.
The Elproma high speed multistandard modems built according to the latest International Telecommunications Union (ITU) specifications. They provide full duplex asynchronous and synchronous (*) data transmission over 2 wire switched lines (PSTN) as well as over 2 wire leased lines at speeds up to 115.200bps. The Elproma modems support all ITU standards from V.21 up to V.34.
The outstanding performance of V.42bis with link Access Protocol (LAPM) and the popular MNP Class 5 data compression and error correction are included. For operating under adverse channel conditions, MNP10 compatibility is available.
For controlling the modem, an extended AT and V.25bis command set enables efficient use of the many available features, in which are included automatic dialling, auto answering, automatic recognition of modulation schemes, remote configuration, dial back security, test routines and V.54 diagnostic routines, which make the Elproma high speed modems ideal for high-end modem applications.
For synchronous operations (*), the modems can be controlled direct by the synchronous V.25bis command set which is HDLC or BSC compatible, or by the auxiliary RS232 asynchronous command port (*).
In addition to data transmission, the Elproma modems also send and receive faxes (Group III compatible). The fax command set is compatible with Fax Class 1 and Class 2 commands.
A non-volatile memory enables the user to store 2 user profiles, 20 telephone numbers and up to 20 password/phone numbers for secured communications.
All Elproma modems will check the telephone line on line condition and with the auto-speed negotiation the modems will automatically fall down or fall forward in line speed.
The MOD144I and the MOD288I internal PC modems have a built-in 16550 UART for supporting high speed serial interfacing. Optional on the MOD144R and MOD288R we can provide a datascope and synchronous mode. All Elproma modems are tested and approved by the several Telecommunication Companies.
